A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton has encouraged her followers to "make a change in your life", while also sharing updates about two of her colleagues. The mother-of-two revealed that former Channel 4 presenter Danni Menzies is preparing for a big change as she says goodbye to the UK and sets her sights on America.

On Tuesday, Laura, 42, took to Instagram to share her joy in a heartfelt post. She wrote: "Hi everyone, this is a message from me to anyone who might need to hear this. This week, this month, this year. If you're thinking about making a change in your life whether that is a career change, moving house, relocating abroad, or setting up a new business, cut the lifeboat. Screw it and just do it.

"I've basically been doing that over the last few years. Surrounding myself with like-minded people and I can honestly say, it's incredibly inspiring and motivating,"

Laura added: "I want to give a big shout-out to two people who are doing exactly that right now. Danni Menzies, who I'm sure many of you know from A Place In The Sun. She is making a big, brave, bold move to LA and is going to have the most amazing time. I'm super proud of her.

"And Kirsty Dymond, who is somebody who used to work with me at Lord Roberts on the Green, which was a coffee shop I set up seven years ago. With no experience of setting up a coffee shop. But she was one of our members on the team. She then joined A Place In The Sun in casting and she has relocated overseas to Dubai. She is only 24. How great is that? So if you're thinking of making a change screw it just do it."

Laura captioned the post: "A message from me to anyone who needs to hear this..." She added the hashtags "#screwitjustdoit #cutthelifeboat #makeachange #bebrave #bebold #entrepreneur".

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman, who recently relocated with her family to Spain, gushed: "Such a beautiful message! Thank you for being such a lovely friend.

Danni replied with a series of heart emojis.
