Arsenal transfer links to Ademola Lookman have ramped up over recent days while Atalanta have made some transfer moves of their own.
Lookman, 27, was able revive his career in Bergamo with 20 goals scored in the most recent campaign. He also netted an excellent hat-trick to help Atalanta win the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen just over 12 months ago.
However, his time at Atalanta has been considered over for a while after a falling out with the club's head coach Gian Piero Gasperini. The 67-year-old has since moved to Roma, but the exit stance of Lookman has not changed.

The former Leicester City, Fulham and Everton attacker has been linked to making a Premier League return - with Liverpool and the Gunners keeping tabs on his situation. The latter are aiming to sign a wide forward this summer and Lookman is one of many targets to have been contacted.
Rodrygo and Rafael Leao are two others but it now appears as though the club's current focus is on the Nigeria international. With all of that being said, football.london has taken a look at the latest Arsenal transfer updates surrounding the 27-year-old.
Arsenal talksHaving already held discussions about, potentially, taking on his services last summer, it is now being widely reported talks for Lookman have resumed.
He was initially added back to the club's winger shortlist last month with a departure from Italy for Lookman looking the case since February.
£42m raceArsenal are not the only club looking at Lookman as Premier League champions Liverpool have also been credited with an interest.
Though he still has two years remaining on his contract, Atalanta are demanding between £38.4million (€45m) and £42.7million (€50m) to sell.
Mikel Arteta's squad appear much more likely to afford that - with Liverpool having already spent over £200million to sign numerous players.
Sulemana agreement impactJust to increase Lookman's exit chances, Atalanta have seemingly agreed a deal for his replacement. According to The Athletic, the Serie A club will pay Southampton a total of £18.3million (€21.5m) for Kamaldeen Sulemana - with £3.3million (€4m) of that available as add-ons.
Atalanta have the funds to pull of such a deal but up to double of that arriving from selling Lookman will now be welcome. They are also closing in on a deal for Italian wonderkid - Honest Ahanor - to join from Genoa.
