BBC EastEnders fans furious as icon 'killed off' in gruesome Reiss Colwell twist

aired dark scenes on Wednesday night, as it was teased a soap legend had been murdered by Reiss Colwell.

Bianca Jackson was left in serious danger after confronting and vowing to expose killer Reiss. She finally had the evidence she needed to prove he killed his ex Debbie, the crime her sister Sonia Fowler is in prison for.

Reiss has allowed his pregnant fiancée Sonia to take the blame, refusing to admit what he'd done. But he was forced to admit all to Bianca when she was shown CCTV footage that proved he was outside the care home the day Debbie was killed.

After Sonia was there, Reiss visited the home and killed Debbie and Bianca had longed suspected this. Now having the evidence, she vowed to go to the police to have him arrested, and have Sonia freed.

But when Reiss agreed to confess to his crime, he claimed he needed to stop by his storage unit as he'd kept the pillow he used to kill Debbie with hidden there. Bianca initially called his bluff, before believing him and going with him.

She took an ornament with her in case he tried anything, and she was right to be worried. When they got to the unit she walked right in, only for Reiss to plot another murder.

Bianca realised too late she had walked right into his trap, and Reiss told her there was no pillow and he'd lied. He then appeared to pick up a weapon and a blanket, before telling Bianca he was sorry.

Bianca looked terrified as she realised there was nowhere to run, looking for a way out. With that, Reiss suddenly ran towards her preparing to throw the blanket over her.

He seemed to hint he was about to kill her if not hurt her, charging at her as Bianca screamed just as the episode ended. So has Bianca been silenced by Reiss, and has he claimed another shock victim?

Viewers certainly believed so, fearing Bianca was dead in a major twist ahead of the soap's 40th anniversary. Taking to X, one viewer fumed: "Omg EastEnders they better not kill my Bianca I’m so serious."

Another agreed: "There is no way our Bianca dies like this, I refuse," as a third fan added: "So Bianca is either dead or going to be held hostage for months." A fourth fan posted: "There’s no way they have allowed BIANCA to die. Icon like herself??" as a fifth viewer wrote: "Reiss isn’t going to kill Bianca surely???? SURELY she survives. An #Eastenders icon CANNOT be killed off by some snivelling little weasel!!!!! I rebuke it!!!"
