Many of us love a slice of cake, but making one always seems a bit of a chore.

Baking might seem tough, but fear not - a delectable Oreo cake requiring a mere three ingredients can now be easily whipped up at home. The process is effortless, easy and utterly indulgent.

Fitwaffle, the culinary sensation on TikTok, assures this sweet creation is absolutely irresistible. She said: "The Oreo cake is seriously to die for. You only need three ingredients for the cake, and it's topped with the most amazing cream cheese frosting."

All you need to do is separate the Oreos and blitz them until fine. Mix in one-and-a-half teaspoons of baking powder and 380ml of milk at room temperature.

Then enter the separated Oreo cream, whisking into the mix until it achieves a silky texture. Up next, slide the concoction into an 8x8 tin lined with parchment paper, and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 180C/160C Fan.

For the icing, combine 45g unsalted butter with 45g softened cream cheese and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Once combined, slowly introduce around 125g of icing sugar.

When your cake is cool, lavish it with the frosting, being sure to smooth it out. For that ultimate chocolaty bite, sprinkle some extra Oreo crumble on top too.

She revealed the cake is "so moist" it only lasted about a day at her home. If you're looking for a tasty treat you can whip up quickly, this recipe seems to be well worth a try.

The recipe has gone viral with over 70,000 likes since its online debut, and many dessert lovers are eager to test it out. After all, who can resist the smell of a scrumptious chocolate delight?

One user exclaimed: "Fantastic - give me fourteen of them right now." Another shared their successful attempt, writing: "I tried this and it's so good, but I did it without the cream."

A third chimed in with: "Looks delish. I need to make this." While another eager foodie remarked: "Delicious, it looks so good. I want it now."

Despite the rave reviews, there was a hint of critique, as some pointed out that counting the frosting brings the ingredient tally to seven, not three. But, if you skip the topping, you've got yourself a straightforward three-ingredient gem.
