Emmerdale confirms what happened to Tom King and his secret accomplice in sick new twist

Tom King's fate has been revealed after speculation he'd been killed off in a dramatic week on Emmerdale.

The villain disappeared this week after Belle Dingle finally exposed his horrific abuse towards her, confirming the violence and controlling behaviour she had faced for months. Belle feared someone had harmed Tom as revenge, as he vanished in a recent episode.

His uncle Jimmy King was frantically looking for him, as other characters questioned his whereabouts and whether he'd been attacked. Fans were wondering if Cain Dingle or someone else had hurt Tom, or if in a twist he might be killed off in the farm fire.

But he was revealed to be alive and in hiding on Friday, working on a sick new plan against Belle. Not only that but he was revealed to have a secret accomplice, with someone in the village helping him and also covering his whereabouts.

Amelia Spencer slammed Belle in the village questioning what had happened to Tom, after recently revealing they were now dating. She can't see that she's being used by Tom and believes his word over Belle's.

But amid her feigning concern for Tom, it was revealed she was helping him. She knew exactly where he was, and was even plotting with him against Belle in horrifying scenes.

Amelia snuck off to the woods, and we could already see Tom being controlling with her like he was with Belle. He soon told her they needed to continue their plan, with him wanting Amelia to be his eyes and ears in the village.

Amelia asked why he wanted her to do this and what she was meant to be finding out, but he didn't tell her and instead claimed it was necessary and that he wanted a divorce. He urged Amelia to cover up his location and the fact he is okay, clearly wanting people to think Belle or someone had hurt him.

As he told her he wanted to be with her, clearly lying, Amelia bought every word and vowed she wouldn't rest until Belle was exposed, and Tom was proven innocent. Tom smirked as he claimed he "always wins", clearly plotting against Belle once more with Amelia's help, but what will they do next?
