Georgia Harrison speaks out after Celebrity SAS co-star Ovie Soko takes dig at her

Reality TV star Georgia Harrison has addressed Ovie Soko's suggestion that she "played up for the cameras" whilst on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins together.

Georgia, 29, and Ovie, 33 - both known for having appeared on Love Island - are among the recruits on the new series of the Channel 4 show. The contestants were introduced to viewers in the launch episode, which aired on Sunday night.

Amid the latest series, professional basketball player Ovie recently claimed that it felt like Georgia "played up for the cameras". It's also been reported that he admitted she was the only co-star that he didn't bond with on the show.

She's since reacted to the suggestion, having shared her thoughts whilst a guest on Fubar Radio this week. Speaking to Bobby Norris - who also took part in the latest series of Celebrity SAS - on his Access All Areas show, Georgia said: "I felt like I got along really well with him on the way out there, and to be honest, I liked him throughout the whole experience.

"I genuinely didn't realise that he didn't like me until the last day, and even then, looking back, I thought maybe it was just because the situation was starting to get a bit of a struggle for him and I felt that maybe he was just using that as an out. But apparently, he just genuinely doesn't like me."

Defending herself, Georgia added: "I wasn't playing up to the cameras. I think after about y'know a day of being there, you forget the cameras are there, and all you wanna do is survive. It's a shame that he has that opinion of me. And I genuinely from the bottom of my heart quite liked him and still do."

She continued: "I'm gonna take it on the chin. [...] I think I suffered a lot during my life with always wanting everyone to like me, and I think I found it really tough when I realised maybe potentially [he] didn't. But I think you've got to accept sometimes in life, not everyone's gonna like you, and as long as you know that, y'know you were kind to people, you treated people with respect, and you didn't do anything that you regret, then you just got to shake it off and move on."

It was during an interview with the Sun, published last week, that Ovie spoke about having worked alongside Georgia. He told the outlet: "I didn't go on SAS to have drama moments, I went on SAS for a personal journey. I didn't know whether that was Georgia Harrison's full goal, at times it just felt like she played up for the cameras."

Ovie added that "everyone" understood that they were there to give it a "good crack" and "help each other". He however further commented during the interview amid the new series: "I felt like everyone got that on the show besides her."
