Jose Mourinho has been warned he is in line for a punishment from his own club after .
The incident occurred following in a Turkish Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night. Buruk's side won the game after a double from Victor Osimhen.
Fenerbahce substitute Mert Yandas as well as Galatasaray stars Kerem Demirbay and Baris Yilmaz were all shown red cards for their part in a melee between the two benches during stoppage time.
Frustrations spilled over again after the final whistle when both managers were interacting with the match officials in the centre circle. Mourinho approached Buruk from behind and appeared to pinch his nose, causing the Galatasaray boss to fall to the floor with his hands covering his face.

Gala's vice-president Metin Ozturk slammed Mourinho, insisting he had 'physically attacked' Buruk. Ozturk also hinted he believes the iconic boss is in line for a punishment from Fenerbahce themselves.
"Our manager Okan and Mourinho congratulated the referees. After that, while Okan was continuing, Mourinho first verbally and then physically attacked him," Ozturk said.
"Where else in the can he do this? What does he think of Turkey? I believe that Fenerbahce's management will impose the necessary sanction before the federation does."
Buruk himself moved to play down the incident, insisting there is no bad blood between him and Mourinho. He did though claim the Fenerbahce boss had not acted in a 'classy' way.
"There was nothing between me and Mourinho," Buruk said. He pinched my nose from behind. There was a slight scratch. Of course, it wasn't a very nice or elegant thing to do.
"We expect managers to behave more appropriately in such situations. I won't exaggerate this issue, but it wasn't a classy move."
Galatasaray later posted a picture on their official X account of a smiling Buruk looking in Mourinho's direction. "YOU SHOULD NOT ATTACK, YOU SHOULD DIGEST!" was the message accompanying the picture along with a shushing emoji.
In another post, with a video showing a cartoon version of Mourinho, the Turkish giants wrote, "Galatasaray drives you crazy." It's the latest controversial incident involving Mourinho this season.
He was handed a four-game ban in February for comments he made about match officials after his side's previous meeting with Galatasaray. In February, Mourinho was accused of making racist comments by Galatasaray after a goalless Super Lig draw between the Istanbul rivals.
Galatasaray said he had used “unequivocally inhumane rhetoric” after he referred to the opposition bench “jumping around like monkeys”. Fenerbahce rejected the accusation and claimed they had filed a lawsuit against Galatasaray for an “attack on the personal rights” of Mourinho.
