Kourtney Kardashian has launched an Ozempic-style weight loss supplement and her fans are not happy.

The TV star, 45, revealed her gummy brand Lemme is launching a new product for weight loss. In an Instagram post, Kourtney's brand said: "Introducing Lemme GLP-1 Daily, a breakthrough innovation in metabolic health, formulated to naturally boost your body’s GLP-1 production, reduce appetite, and promote healthy weight loss."

However, it didn't take long for a wave of criticism to follow. One social media user said: "Yes, you should be p***ed off that Kourtney Kardashian is selling 'natural' appetite suppressants." Another added: "I know supplement regulation is the wild wild west but this screams class action lawsuit to me."

When announcing the product Lemme said: "Since Lemme’s launch, we’ve heard from thousands of you looking for a natural GLP-1 solution without side effects." Kourtney also said in a press release to Page Six: "We spent years working with our medical advisory board to formulate Lemme GLP-1 Daily into the most effective and researched GLP-1 supplement on the market.

"I’m excited and proud of our cutting-edge formulation that uses both clinically-studied and patented ingredients to increase GLP-1 levels in the body, naturally." The supplement, which launches on September 16, includes "clinically-tested ingredients Eriomin® Lemon Fruit Extract, Supresa® Saffron Extract, and Morosil™ Red Orange Fruit Extract".

Lemme claimed the new gummy promotes "fat reduction, reduces hunger, and promotes healthy weight management". While some people mentioned the potential for a class action lawsuit, Lemme stated: "There isn't a lawsuit. All of our products go through full scientific and legal reviews."

Model Lottie Moss has recently spoke out about the use of weight loss drug Ozempic. She was rushed to the hospital after taking a high dosage of the drug, which is a medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The 26-year-old model said she had a seizure when she was in the emergency room after she took a high dosage of Ozempic for two weeks.

The drug caused her to be extremely ill. She said she couldn't keep water or food down without getting sick. After her trip to the hospital, she wanted people against taking the 'dangerous' drug. She had the seizure as she was severely dehydrated and told her Dream On with Lottie Moss podcast that her face and hands clenching up was one of the 'scariest' things she has ever gone through.

Lottie, who is the sister of Kate Moss, said: "A few months ago, I was not feeling happy about my weight, I had a friend, and she could get it for me. It was below board, from a doctor, but it wasn't like you go into a doctor's office and he prescribes it for you, takes your blood pressure, and takes tests, which is what you need when you go on something like Ozempic.

"At the end of the day, it is a medication, it is dangerous and really meant for weight loss of people of a very large size. When I was taking it, the amount that I was taking was meant for people who are 100 kilos and over and I'm in the 50s range. It's these small things I wish I'd known before taking it. But I took it, you inject it into your leg, and it was the worst decision I ever made."
