Lorraine's Ranvir Singh opens up on 'feeling a fraud' as she steps in for ITV presenter

The regular was back on television screens on Friday (October 11) and welcomed fashion expert Jo Elvin to the studio to discuss the latest high street fashion for all ages.

During the segment, Ranvir opened up shopping, saying: "I resonate with so much of what people are saying. That feeling of being a fraud when you walk in." Jo replied: "Having been the editor of You Magazine, I used to hear from women all the time that say 'I'm to told to wear X' and a lot of it is in your head."

It comes after Lorraine was joined by Ranvir and Christine Lampard live on the show last week to mark her 40th anniversary on television. Lorraine joined Christine and Ranvir after a montage that featured photos of the Scottish presenter throughout her career in broadcasting.

Speaking of her milestone anniversary, Lorraine said: "It just feels like it's gone by in a flash and I've been so incredibly lucky because, mainly with the people that I work with, all of these incredible people, my great team. It's a joy to go into work every morning, an absolute joy."

During the show, messages were played from legends across the of TV and music, featuring the likes of Graham Norton, Ant and Dec and Gary Barlow sending their congratulations.

As the hosts took a trip down memory lane, Ranvir and Lorraine looked back on life in the '90s and Lorraine's GMTV career, and were joined by Good Morning Britain host .

Kate said at the time: "It was iconic because it was Lorraine's involvement. That's the thing about you, you make everything better and bigger, and with such good spirit."

Lorraine, who became a grandmother earlier this year, also looked back over memories in broadcasting and said: "I'll tell you what, the biggest thing that's ever happened to me is baby Billie. That is the best thing ever, to see your baby having a baby. I mean, what a year, what a year." Earlier this year, Lorraine received the BAFTA TV Special Award to celebrate her 40 years in broadcasting.
