Man who hasn't cut hair for two years travels hour for dramatic transformation

Getting a haircut can really work wonders for your self-esteem and make you feel better about yourself.

But for many, even as little as changing a can seem like quite the chore. In recent weeks, we've seen a manner of jaw-dropping transformations on social media with one .

Now user @nguyensteadycutting, who boasts 1.3million followers, left fans drooling after showcasing his latest job on a client's head. In the clip, Richmond Barber says: "Ah good Lord, it's all over your face bro," before asking: "How long has it been?"

The customer shamelessly replies: "Two years [since my last cut]." He admits the reason for growing his locks out was down to his "big a** forehead" which he doesn't like. So he then asks the barber for the "special" which is a blowout taper.

He also tells the hairdresser it's actually his 24th birthday. When asked why he chose him as his barber, he reveals: "Quality cuts. Cuts from my area, no." He was so dedicated for a transformation, he travelled an hour from Gloucester, Virginia, for the snip.

In the past, he's had his cousin cut his hair to which he describes as "terrible" in the short clip. Then seconds later, the man looks completely different, amazing thousands of TikTok followers. He describes the haircut as "crazy" and a "great birthday".

The video garnered 417,000 likes and 1,500 comments since it was posted recently. One commented: "Hair is everything." While another added: "This is one of the best." A third gushed: "Saved that man's life."

Then a fourth commented: "Literally an entire new person." Then others described the haircut as life-changing and a miracle job.
