Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle has shared a touching tribute on social media after her boyfriend's US Open final loss to Jannik Sinner.

Following Fritz's 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 defeat in New York, Riddle took to Instagram to express her unwavering support, stating she's her beau's "biggest fan". The couple, who have been an item since 2020 after connecting on a celebrity dating app, have become quite the sensation.

Riddle, 27, has gained attention on the circuit for giving sports fans a peek behind the scenes, as well as causing some controversy with her remarks on tennis. Following Fritz's setback at Flushing Meadows, Riddle showcased her supportive nature by posting a snapshot of Fritz and Sinner during the award ceremony.

Her Instagram caption, a heartfelt testament to their relationship, read: "What an amazing week @taylor_Fritz. I could not be more proud of you and grateful to support you. Your dedication and drive inspires me so much every day, forever your biggest fan."

Riddle, who found her own spotlight on TikTok with over half a million followers, was once dubbed 'the most famous woman in men's tennis' by the New York Times.

She also made waves during this year's Wimbledon when she was seen celebrating boisterously in the players' box during Fritz's fourth round match against Alexander Zverev, reports the Express.

The German tennis star then seemed to take umbrage at her exuberant celebrations in the player's box. However, Riddle then stirred up more controversy with a series of social media posts seemingly aimed at Zverev, which she later deleted and dismissed as a "misunderstanding".

The model also featured in the Netflix series Break Point, alongside Fritz, which spotlighted tennis players competing in Grand Slam tournaments. In 2022, Riddle, in a now-deleted video, claimed she was "on a personal mission to make tennis cool again."

While some applauded her efforts, others criticised her for her remarks about the state of tennis in the USA, after she stated that the sport "is relatively uncool and unknown in America". Fritz, however, stood by his girlfriend when asked about the video, expressing his support for her endeavour to popularise tennis.

"I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it," he said. "I think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it. I don't understand how anyone can get upset about it."

Hailing from Minneapolis before relocating to New York, Riddle completed her English degree at Wagner College in 2019. She initially dabbled in estate agency before finding her niche with social media and marketing firms.

However, in 2022, she decided to leave her job to focus on creating tennis-related content. Alongside her legion of TikTok followers, she also boasts a following of 300,000 on Instagram.

Last year, Riddle hosted the Wimbledon Threads fashion series. She has also been a prominent figure on social media during the grand slam events, often spotted in the players' box cheering for Fritz.
