The written examination for Agniveer recruitment was conducted from 30 June to 10 July 2025. The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) was conducted in 13 languages (English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Odia, Bengali, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, and Assamese). This exam was conducted online using objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQ). According to the application category, the candidates had to answer 50 questions in one hour or 100 questions in two hours.

What happens after passing the exam?
The selection of Agniveers in the Indian Army is based on the online Common Entrance Test, Physical Fitness Test, and Medical Test. After passing the exam, the candidates will have to appear in the physical test, and if they pass that too, then there will be a medical test. Only after being successful in all these processes, the candidate will be considered finally successful.
How much salary will be given?
The salary of Agniveers selected in the Indian Army has been fixed at Rs 30 thousand per month in the first year, but only Rs 21 thousand will be given in hand. The remaining Rs 9000 will be deposited in the Agniveer Corpus Fund, and the Government of India will also contribute an additional Rs 9000 to this fund. And this money will be added to the Agniveers after leaving the job. Similarly, in the second year, the salary of Agniveers is fixed at Rs 33000 per month, but in-hand Rs 23100 will be given, while in the third year, the salary is Rs 36500, but in-hand Rs 25550 will be given. At the same time, in the fourth year, the salary is fixed at Rs 40000 per month, but in-hand, Rs 28000 will be given.
