If you are dreaming of studying MBA abroad, then America is considered to be the most popular and favorite country in this direction. There is a lot of attraction about the business universities of America, especially among Indian students. These universities are famous all over the world for good education, excellent network and great career opportunities. But at the same time their fees are also very high, so it is very important to have the right information.
According to the recently released QS Global MBA Ranking 2025, many universities of America are included in the top 10. The annual fee for studying in these universities is between Rs 65 lakh to Rs 77 lakh. The most discussed institutions include Stanford, Harvard, Wharton School, MIT Sloan and Columbia Business School. Along with studies in these colleges, you also get the opportunity of international network and high-salary placement.
However, fees are not the only expense. In a country like America, the cost of living, food, books, travel and insurance is also quite high. Usually the cost of living there is between Rs 20 to 30 lakh annually. In this way, doing MBA in a year can cost up to Rs 1 crore.
Top MBA Universities of America
Now the question arises whether every student can afford such an expense? The answer is - no. But there is no need to be disappointed because there are many government and low-fee universities in America which provide MBA facility in a low budget. Some of these institutions are - colleges like University of Georgia, Texas State University, University of Alabama, where the total fee of MBA can be up to Rs 10 to 15 lakh.
Apart from this, some institutes do not consider GMAT score necessary and many universities also give admission on the basis of experience. Students can apply for scholarships, assistantships and other financial aids which further reduces their cost.
Generally, some documents are mandatory for MBA admission like graduation degree, English language test (IELTS or TOEFL), SOP (Statement of Purpose), recommendation letters and resume. Hence, it is important to keep all these documents ready before applying.
