HTET 2024 Notification: Notification issued for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, apply from this day..

HTET 2024 Notification: The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has released the official notification for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 or HTET 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply from November 4 by visiting the official website (). The last date to apply for this exam is November 14, 2024. The correction window will open from November 15 to 17, 2024.

The Level 1, 2, and 3 exams will be of 150 minutes. All questions will be bilingual, i.e. Hindi and English except questions related to language subjects. This exam is conducted for candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 (PRT-Primary Teacher), classes 6 to 8 (TGT-Trained Graduate Teacher), and PGT (Post Graduate Teacher).

Educational Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher

To become a TGT in a government-recognized school in Haryana, it is necessary to fulfill some basic qualifications. Candidates fulfilling any of these qualifications are eligible.

Those who have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% marks and 2 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education can apply for the Level 2 exam.

Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and a B.Ed/Special B.Ed degree are eligible.

Candidates having 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-year BA B.Ed/B.Com B.Ed degree are eligible.

Educational Qualification for Primary Teacher

Those who have passed 10+2 Intermediate with 50% marks and have passed/appeared a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/B.E.Ed are eligible.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 Intermediate with 45% marks and have passed/appearing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/B.E.Ed are also eligible.
Candidates having a graduation degree in any stream and passed/appearing 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/BEE can apply for PRT posts.

Age Limit

Candidates aged between 18 to 38 years are eligible for PRT, TGT, and PGT posts. If a candidate does not fall within this age limit then he/she will be disqualified from the exam.
