IBPS Clerk Age Limit: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the last date for the application process for recruitment to clerk posts till August 28. What should be the maximum age limit?
The age of the applicant applying for IBPS Clerk Recruitment has been fixed as a minimum of 20 years and a maximum age limit as on 1 August 2025. This means that the candidate should not be born before 2 August 1997 or after 1 August 2005. Apart from this, age relaxation has also been given under the reservation policy of the government. SC and ST category candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit, while OBC category candidates will be given 3 years.
In which banks will the recruitment be done?
Through this recruitment process, candidates will be appointed to the post of Customer Service Associate in 11 government banks, including Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, and UCO Bank.
Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment is based on an online prelims exam and an online mains exam. 60 minutes will be given for 100 questions in the prelims exam. It will include 30 questions (30 marks) of English Language, 35 questions (35 marks) of Numerical Ability, and 35 questions (35 marks) of Reasoning Ability.
Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable in both pre and mains objective tests for each wrong answer. The final merit will be made only based on the marks of the main examination. Candidates can apply for only one state, although the examination center can be in any other state as well.

Click on New Registration and fill in your name, mobile number, email, etc. Once the registration is complete, you will get a registration number and password.
Log in and fill in your personal details, educational qualification, address, and other required information.
Upload a passport size photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format and size.
Pay the application fee through online mode as per your category.
Check everything carefully, then submit.
