Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 2 (ANI): A fire broke out in a textile factory on Friday in the Alamganj area of Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh, an official said.
Upon receiving the information, several fire tenders rushed to the spot and engaged in the firefighting operation.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner of Burhanpur, Sandeep Shrivastava said that the fire is very much under control and some houses have been evacuated for safety measures.
Speaking to ANI, Sandeep Shrivastava said, "A fire broke out in a textile factory in Alamganj of Ganpati Naka police station area of Burhanpur. Initially, two fire tenders rushed to the spot. After that, around 10 fire tenders are engaged in the firefighting operation for the last 2.5 hours, along with it, 4 tankers are also giving back support to these fire tenders. The fire is very much under control. Some houses have been evacuated for safety measures as there is a residential area nearby."
