Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 26 (ANI): Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, along with Congress leaders, participated in a door-to-door campaign in Yousafguda in Jubilee Hills constituency on Sunday, urging voters to support Congress candidate Naveen Yadav in the bypolls. 
Prabhakar expressed confidence in his party's victory in the upcoming bye-election, highlighting the government's welfare measures, including ration cards, free electricity for 200 units, and free bus travel for women.
He also responded to BRS working president KT Rama Rao's remark, and said, "A Car should not come under a bulldozer to get crushed..."
Speaking to ANI, Ponnam Prabhakar said, "Those who comment on our candidate are blessings for him. There was no development here for a decade... Our government is giving ration cards, free 200 units of electricity and free bus travel for women... Congress will win in this by-election..."
Meanwhile, a day earlier, BJP Andhra Pradesh State President PVN Madhav called on his Telangana counterpart N Ramchander Rao at the state party headquarters.
The meeting was a courtesy call where the two leaders discussed strengthening the party in both states, strategies for the upcoming elections, coordination of activities, and programs to boost morale among party cadres. Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy and BJP Andhra Pradesh Chief Spokesperson Jayaprakash accompanied Madhav.
Later, speaking to the media, both stated their commitment to strengthening and expanding the party at the Central and State levels through better coordination between the two.
Telangana state BJP chief Ramchander Rao said it was my honour to receive the Andhra Pradesh State BJP President PVN Madhav at the Telangana State BJP office here, and said we discussed various issues, including the implementation of Central government schemes and the present prevailing political situation in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Reciprocating the warm welcome given to him, Madhav said, "I am delighted to visit the Telangana State Office for the first time after assuming the responsibilities of Andhra Pradesh State President. He said we will work together in coordination on various tasks related to the two states and organisational matters of the party.
AP BJP President said we will work relentlessly to ensure the BJP's victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election. He said Purandheshwari will also participate in the election campaign here.
The bye-election in Jubilee Hills, scheduled for November 11, will see 58 candidates contesting. (ANI)
