COMEDK 2025 exam rescheduled in 12 cities due to Operation Sindoor, new dates to be announced soon

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges has postponed the COMEDK 2025 exam, scheduled to be held on May 10, has been rescheduled for certain cities as per the directives issued by government officials as part of Operation Sindoor.

The COMEDK exam for such candidates will be conducted on an alternate date. The new date will be provided on the official website later. Candidates are advised to check the website for the latest updates.

The exam is postponed for the following states, the new COMEDK exam date will be made available soon.


Around 3000 students were expected to take exams in these centres.

“Candidates assigned to centers in these cities are advised not to panic. All candidates are requested to regularly check the official website www.comedk.org and www.unigauge.com for further updates.," said a release.

“We have sent individual communication to all students regarding the postponement. We have advised them not to panic and will hold the exam on an alternate day whenever the government permits,” said Dr S Kumar, secretary, Comed-K.

NOTE: The exam will be held as scheduled - May 10 in all other centres. Candidates can check the exam time below.

The COMEDK and uni-GAUGE exam slot timings are as follows -

• Morning session - 8:30 am to 11:30 am
• Afternoon session - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Evening session - 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Candidates must note that the exam slot cannot change their exam slot.
