West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjeeon Wednesday said that Trinamool Congress MPs were fighting against the waqf bill in Parliament and that the Centre has only one target of dividing the country.
"Our MPs are fighting for waqf today. The jumla party has only one-point programme to divide the country. They ( BJP) believe in divide and rule policy, but we don't. We should all first respect the Constitution. We abide by the Constitution. First respect the Constitution and then do ' jumlabaazi'," Banerjee said.
"The jumla party is planning communal unrest. We will respect that religion which shows respect for all other religions," Banerjee said.
