VinFast opens booking for VF 6 and VF 7: Check price, specs, features, range, colours, delivery timelines, and dealers

Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has officially opened pre-bookings for its first two electric SUVs in India—the VF 6 and VF 7—starting July 15. Customers in India can now reserve their preferred model either at VinFast showrooms or via the official website, VinFastAuto.in, with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000 said the company in a release.

These models are scheduled for official public launch in August, coinciding with the inauguration of the company’s plant in Thoothukudi, with deliveries expected to begin shortly thereafter, according to company's press release.

VinFast VF6 price, range and specifications
The VF 6, a compact electric SUV designed for families, features a comfortable and stylish interior with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), an intuitive infotainment system, connected car features, signature LED lighting, and a panoramic roof.

As per reports it is powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, the VF 6 uses a 59.6 kWh battery with an estimated range of up to 440 km. It is expected to be priced between ₹18 lakh and ₹24 lakh.

VinFast VF7 price, range and specification
The VF 7, a mid-size SUV, offers a premium cabin with a large touchscreen, wireless charging, panoramic glass roof, and advanced connected technologies. It is also equipped with Level 2 ADAS and signature LED lighting.

According to reports, the VF 7 features a 75.3 kWh battery providing an estimated range of over 450 km. The VF 7 is expected to be priced between ₹30 lakh and ₹35 lakh.

Both models will be available in Jet Black, Neptune Grey, Brahminy White, and Crimson Red.


National dealership and service stations
VinFast Auto India has partnered with 13 dealer groups to establish its initial retail and service network. The company’s 35 dealerships will be located across metro areas and growing EV hubs including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneshwar, Trivandrum, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Surat, Calicut, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Shimla, Agra, Jhansi, Gwalior, Vapi, Baroda, and Goa.

VinFast charging and service stations
VinFast has announced strategic partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to build a robust nationwide charging and after-sales support network. These collaborations aim to deliver real-time charging access, AI-driven diagnostics, and integrated digital platforms to support the growing EV customer base and ensure a seamless ownership experience.

VinFast has also partnered with BatX Energies, an Indian clean-tech firm specializing in battery recycling, rare metal recovery, and end-of-life battery repurposing.

VinFast CEO comments

Make-in-India plans
VinFast plans to manufacture 1,50,000 units of the VF 6 and VF 7 combined, with part of the output allocated for export to the Middle East and African markets. A manufacturing facility is currently being established in Tamil Nadu with an investment of USD 2 billion.
