The Goddess is worshipped for nine days during Navratri. Kanya Pujan (Kanya Pujan 2025) holds special significance on the final days, Ashtami and Navami. Semolina Halwa Recipe
Ingredients:
Semolina - 1 cup
Pure Desi Ghee - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 3 cups
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cashews, almonds, and raisins - for garnish
Method:
First, heat ghee in a pan and add semolina and fry over medium heat until golden brown. Be careful not to burn the semolina.
In a separate pot, boil water and add sugar to prepare a solution.
Slowly pour this syrupy water into the roasted semolina, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
When the halwa thickens, add cardamom powder and dried fruits and mix well.
The delicious semolina halwa is ready for offering.
How to Make Black Chickpeas
Ingredients:
Black Chickpeas - 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Salt - to taste
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Leaves - for garnishing
Ginger and Green Chili Paste - 1 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil - 1 teaspoon

Method:
Boil the soaked chickpeas in a pressure cooker with salt and turmeric.
Heat some oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and fry the ginger-green chili paste.
Add the boiled chickpeas, mix well, and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
The black chickpeas are ready for offering.
