According to the doctor, in case of anemia, there is a lack of hemoglobin in the body. Hemoglobin is a protein found in red blood cells, which carries oxygen to the body parts. During pregnancy, the body needs more oxygen supply. If the level of hemoglobin in the body is less than 11gm/dL, then it is called pregnancy anemia.
What to do in case of anemia during pregnancy
If a pregnant woman does not have enough hemoglobin in her blood, then the organs and tissues of the body will get less oxygen than normal. The baby in the womb depends on the things and oxygen received from the mother, so it will not be good for his health. If we talk about India, then India is the largest country of iron deficiency anemia in women. According to research, 6 out of 10 pregnant women in India have anemia.
Symptoms of anemia in pregnancy
Feeling tired, weak, or lacking in energy. Feeling short of breath, dizziness, headache. Irritability, leg cramps, hair fall, loss of appetite, etc. These are some common symptoms through which any pregnant woman can be diagnosed whether she is suffering from anemia or not.
Why can anemia occur during pregnancy?

Folic acid deficiency: Folic acid is very important for making red blood cells. If there is a deficiency of it in the body, then the risk of anemia increases.
