Delhi Shooting VIDEO: 6 Gunshots Fired At Property Dealer's Car In Trilokpuri, No Injuries Reported; Police Finds Note

New Delhi, April 5: In a shocking incident, unidentified attackers on bikes opened fire on a car parked outside an apartment complex in Delhi's Trilokpuri area on Saturday (April 5) afternoon. The incident took place around 3:45 PM today and has raised serious concerns about safety and security of the people in residential areas in the national capital. Many incidents of shooting have come to the fore from Delhi in the recent past.

Attackers Tried to Set the Car on Fire First

According to reports, the attackers first tried to burn the car by pouring petrol on it. However, they were not able to burn the car and they failed. After that, they fired about six rounds of bullets at the car, smashing its windows. Fortunately, no one was inside the car at the time of the attack and there were no injuries reported in the incident.

Car Belongs to Property Dealer

Police later found that the car belongs to a man named Sanjay, who works as a property dealer and lives in Trilokpuri area. After firing six rounds of bullets at the car, the attackers fled the spot.

Note Was Left Behind

Interestingly, the attackers also left behind a note near the car, mentioning a money dispute with Sanjay. Police are now investigating whether this was truly about money or if there is another reason behind the attack.

Police and Forensic Team Investigating

As soon as the firing was reported, Delhi Police reached the spot, extinguished the small fire on the car and began the investigation. A forensic team was also called in to collect evidence from the scene.

Officials Suspect Personal Rivalry or Gang Connection

Initial investigation suggests the incident could be linked to personal enmity or gang-related activities. Police are checking CCTV footage and speaking to locals to identify the attackers.

Police Action

Speaking about the case, Additional DCP-I (East Delhi) Vineet Kumar said, “We received a call around 3:45 PM about shots being fired. At the scene, we found a white car partially burned and evidence of six gunshots. No one was injured. Investigation is ongoing and forensic experts are helping us gather clues. We are working to identify the attackers.”

Police have also urged citizens to stay alert and report any suspicious activity immediately.
