Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Health services in rural areas of the district are in a bad state, although the government has pumped in a lot of money to improve medical facilities.
Many villages in the Shyampur block have been deprived of health services. A primary health centre has been incomplete for over three years. Even the target date for completing the work passed a year ago.
But the officials of the health department are not paying attention to the irregularities in the department. Similarly, a sub-health centre has been running from the Muskra Panchayat building for four years.
As a result, the villagers are not getting proper health facilities for which the government is spending a lot of money.

Building to be completed soon
When the issue was raised before the engineer of the health department, Manohar Kushwaha, he said the construction had started late. The work stopped because of a shortage of funds, but the building is almost ready, he said, adding that the work will end in a few months.
