Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has rolled out a plan to help students appearing for the Class 10 and 12 second examination improve their marks and grades.
Under this plan, online classes will be conducted until June 1. From June 2, in-person special classes will be held in the students’ schools. Teachers have been instructed to contact students who failed the exams through phone and form WhatsApp groups for better communication.
The Directorate of Public Instruction’s (DPI) Assessment Cell has prepared study materials for all Class 10 subjects, which will be used by teachers managing WhatsApp groups. These materials are also available on the Vimarsh portal.
On May 23, subject specialists from DPI conducted a day-long online training for master trainers across districts. The master trainers will train subject teachers from May 24-26, after which teaching will begin. WhatsApp groups will also be used to solve student problems and motivate them to stay stress-free. Moreover, a ‘Tips and Tricks’ video will be shown to students.
From June 2, in-person classes will be held in respective schools for students taking the second examination. District Education Officers have been directed to monitor preparations daily in at least five higher secondary and high schools in their districts.
Public Instruction Commissioner, Shilpa Gupta said the department is making special efforts to help students appearing in the second examination. Online and offline classes will be organised for these students. That will improve the overall results
