A fire broke out onboard a 600-foot cargo ship near Alaska in the United States on Wednesday. The blaze reportedly erupted about 300 miles off the Alaska coast. The US Coast Guard responded to the fire incident after receiving information.
No injuries have been reported so far. Three US Coast Guard vessels are at the site to douse the fire. According to reports, there are 22 people onboard the ship.

The reason for the blaze is yet to be ascertained. USCG aircrews and cutters are also en route to Adak.
