Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today emphasized national unity behind India's armed forces during his visit to Prayagraj. "Every patriot stands with our soldiers and supports Prime Minister Modi's decisions," Maurya declared after inaugurating education projects at the District Panchayat Auditorium.
The Deputy CM criticized certain opposition leaders, stating, "While most political parties stand with our forces, a handful of Congress leaders sound like Pakistan's spokespersons." He specifically referenced Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge without detailing specific remarks.
Maurya, known for his political commentary, turned his attention to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav: "Those dreaming of 400 seats will face reality in 2027. The SP will become irrelevant due to its history of promoting goondaism." He contrasted this with BJP's governance achievements in law and order, education and employment.
The event primarily focused on education infrastructure development, with CM Yogi Adityanath remotely inaugurating projects from Lucknow. Maurya highlighted the government's "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" approach as key to their 2027 electoral strategy.
