Noida News: A woman, Nidhi, was murdered for dowry on 24 August in Jaganpur village of Dankaur police station area of Greater Noida. In this case, the police registered a case and after investigating, arrested Nidhi's brother-in-law Tarun, father-in-law Ramesh, and mother-in-law and sent them to jail, while husband Deepak absconded.

In this case, the police registered a case and after investigating, arrested Nidhi's brother-in-law Tarun, father-in-law Ramesh, and mother-in-law and sent them to jail, while husband Deepak absconded.

Now Deepak, the husband who is absconding in this case, has released a video on social media, in which he has declared himself innocent and rejected the allegations of dowry murder. In the video, Deepak is seen saying that he will not go to jail until he makes arrangements for the upbringing of his newborn daughter.

The husband declared himself innocent

In the video, Deepak denied the allegations of dowry death and claimed that his wife Nidhi died due to a bullet fired accidentally by his brother. He said that his entire family is innocent and demanded a fair investigation from the police. Taking cognizance of this video, the police have intensified the search for the accused husband.

'Wife's death was the result of an accident'

In this case, the police say that three arrests have already been made and now efforts are on to arrest the absconding husband. The police are trying to trace the source of the video and soon Deepak will also be arrested.

Nidhi was married to Deepak four years ago. Nidhi was a resident of Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi, while Deepak is a native of Dhanpura in Meerut, who has been living with his family in Jaganpur village of Dankaur police station area for the last decade. It is alleged that Deepak shot his wife Nidhi dead on August 24 and hanged her body in the house to make it look like a case of suicide.

Four years of marriage and the end

On August 24, Nidhi's body was found lying on the bed in the house with a bullet wound in her neck. On receiving the information, Nidhi's family reached the spot, caught Tarun and handed him over to the police. On the complaint of Nidhi's family, the police registered a case of dowry murder against six people including her husband, brother-in-law, and mother-in-law.

Police filed a case

Greater Noida ADCP Ashok Kumar said that in this murder case, the police have arrested the deceased's mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law. Along with this, the illegal weapon used in the incident has also been recovered. The absconding accused will also be arrested soon.
