How to apply for BH series number plate
Visit the Transport Portal
Visit the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways:

Login and select Vehicle Registration
Click on “Vehicle Registration”.
Select your state and click on “Apply for New Registration”.
Select BH Series
From the options, select “Bharat Series” (BH) registration.
Enter Vehicle Details
Fill in:
Owner Name
Vehicle Chassis Number
Engine Number
Other Basic Vehicle Details
Upload Required Documents
Identity Proof
Address Proof
Employment Proof (for eligibility)
Pay Registration Fee
Pay online.
Keep the receipt/slip for future reference.
RTO Verification
Your application will be verified by the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
If approved, you will be issued a BH series number plate.
Who can apply for a BH series number plate?
Not everyone is eligible for this plate. It is mainly for people employed in transferable jobs or on an all-India level.
Eligible applicants include:
Central government employees
State government employees
Defense personnel
Employees of public sector undertakings (PSUs)
Bank employees
Employees of private companies that have offices in at least four states or union territories
