Recently elections have been completed in two states of India. New governments have been formed in these states. Even before the results of the elections, many types of fake news start circulating on social media. On the other hand, after the implementation of the code of conduct, it is violated at many places. But now the Election Commission has prepared a new plan to curb all these things.
The Election Commission has now given power to the common man. During the elections, if the common man sees any irregularity or violation of the moral code of conduct. Then he can directly complain to the Election Commission about this. The Election Commission will take action on these complaints within just 90 minutes.
Common man can complain on C-Vigil app
During the elections, many political parties run different types of campaigns on social media to benefit the party. In which many times there are such news to confuse the people which have no basis. So along with that, during elections, political parties violate the moral code of conduct. But now the Election Commission has empowered the common man.
The Election Commission has released the c-Vigil app. Through this app, any common citizen can complain about the disturbances happening around. If a worker of any party is doing something like distributing liquor, distributing money, which is against the code of conduct. So a complaint can be made through the c-Vigil app. The Election Commission will take action on such complaints in 90 minutes.
This is how you can complain
The Election Commission of India has released the cVIGIL app. On which any Indian citizen can go and register his complaint. Action will be taken by the Election Commission on these complaints in just 90 minutes. Through this app, citizens are to be enabled to complain against the violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during elections.
To complain through this app, the app has to be opened. The type of complaint has to be selected. And you will have to provide complete details of the incident. This includes place, time and photos or videos. After filing a complaint through the app, its status can also be tracked.
