Mahadevi Verma's name is included among the most prominent writers of the Chhayavadi era of Hindi literature. She is one of the most talented Hindi poets. She used soft vocabulary in Khariboli Hindi. She raised her voice for women's freedom and rights through her writings. Mahadevi Verma's major works are Atmika, Parikrama, Sandhini, Yama, Geetparv, Deepgeet, Smarika, Neelambara.

Shivani

Shivani is a famous Hindi novelist, who dedicated many wonderful works to Hindi literature with her writing. Shivani was a writer of Hindi literature, who had a good command over Hindi as well as Sanskrit, Gujarati, Bengali, Urdu and English. In most of Shivani's books, the culture of Kumaon in India can be read. Most of her novels and stories were women-centric.

Geetanjali Shree
Geetanjali Shree's novel 'Ret Samadhi', whose English translation is 'Tomb Of Sand', created history by winning the International Booker Prize of the year 202. Through her writings, an insightful exploration of post-partition India reached a global audience, which proved to be a milestone for Hindi literature.

Manu Bhandari
Manu Bhandari is a prominent writer of the Nayi Kahani literary movement, whose works like 'Mahabhoj' and 'Aapka Bunty' are critical works of India's socio-political scenario. Her storytelling art is known for its clarity and depth. Manu Bhandari skillfully dissects the intricacies of political and social structures, which gave her an important place in contemporary Hindi literature.

Amrita Pritam
If we talk about literature that touches the heart, then Amrita Pritam's name is a must. She was a novelist and poet. She wrote in both Hindi and Punjabi languages. She is also considered the first Punjabi woman poet. Her story Pinjar of the partition era describes the condition of women.
