Gurmeet Ram Rahim Parole: Ram Rahim has got parole again. This time the accused Ram Rahim has got parole for 20 days.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Parole: Ram Rahim has again got parole. This time he has got parole for 20 days. Truly, it is not a jail but an inn. It is not law but a spectacle. It is not punishment but daily wages in installments. Who says law is equal for all? It does not differentiate between small, big, rich, poor, weak and powerful. This one man has proved all the proverbs wrong. He has also proved that even if someone rapes, murders someone, or serves two life imprisonments of 20 years each, one can still remain free outside the jail.

What is the meaning of such a punishment?

In our country, perhaps no one comes and goes from in-laws' house so soon. But this guy has really proved the saying of in-laws' house being jail to be true again and again. Just last August 13, the rock star of his time, Baba, who was also a love charger, came out of jail i.e. in-laws' house to celebrate a 21-day holiday. He celebrated his birthday with pomp and show for 21 days. Enjoyed all the pleasures of freedom. Then on September 3, he went back to jail to come out for the next time. This time he was not feeling like going inside. So he applied for leave again while sitting in jail. The amazing thing is the law sitting outside the jail. It approves the leave just by looking at the envelope of the rock star's leave application. There is no need to read the content inside. Yes, within just 3 weeks, once again the love charger is coming out of in-laws' house to get charged. Now even coincidences are being doubted. But the coincidence is that there are elections again in Haryana.

This Ram Rahim, a blot on Baba's name, was sentenced to two life sentences of 20 years each in September 2017 on the charges of raping two girls and murdering a journalist. That means he hasn't even completed seven years in jail yet.

Technically, Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who has been sentenced to two life sentences of 20 years each, has enjoyed freedom for more than 255 days in the name of parole and furlough in the last seven years. According to the data of NCRB i.e. National Crime Record Bureau, at present, about six lakh prisoners are lodged in different jails across the country. Out of these six lakh, about two and a quarter lakh prisoners are convicted i.e. those whose crimes have been accounted for and they have been sentenced. It is claimed that if you go around the jails of the whole country, and show me just one such prisoner who has been sent out of jail for more than 255 days in the name of parole and furlough in the last seven years. You will definitely not find any other name other than Gurmeet Ram Rahim.

...when the High Court reprimanded the state government

Baba's blessings have the most influence in Haryana. So, it was necessary to get Baba out of jail to take stock of the preparations before the election. By the way, it is also amazing that this time, the decision to release Gurmeet Ram Rahim on furlough just before his birthday has been given by the same Punjab and Haryana High Court which had scolded the state government some time back for repeatedly granting 50-50 days parole to Ram Rahim. And then the court had also given the decision that in future, whenever Ram Rahim has to go out, the state government will first take permission from him. So Gurmeet Ram Rahim and the Haryana government reached the same Punjab and Haryana High Court this time. To ask for a new release permit. The Punjab and Haryana High Court also forgot the past and told Gurmeet Ram Rahim to go and live his life for the next 21 days from 13 August. Take off the clothes of a prisoner, wear your same thug's attire again and go out as per your nature and give your sermons through social media again.

How often is the payroll?

Now understand this new twist in the story. This time Baba had again asked for 20 days of parole. Actually, according to the Haryana Jail Manual, every prisoner can get 70 days of parole in a year. Baba has already enjoyed 50 days of parole this year. So far, he has 20 more days left. So now when Baba again applied for parole, due to the implementation of the election code of conduct, the state government sent his application to the Chief Election Officer i.e. CEO. The CEO asked for information about his parole rules and the parole received so far and then issued an order to release him on parole once again with some conditions. According to these conditions, Baba cannot participate in any election campaign either openly or through social media. That is, Baba has got parole, but will stay away from elections, but in this age of social media, how difficult it will be for Baba to convey his message to his devotees and how difficult it will not be.

The result is that while Gurmeet Ram Rahim has spent more than 255 days in freedom on parole and furlough in 13 installments in seven years, Asaram who is much older and more ill than Gurmeet Ram Rahim, got parole for seven days for the first time in the month of August after 11 years of imprisonment. That too in the name of treatment; it is a different matter that this parole was later extended for seven more days, but now Asaram has gone behind bars once again after 14 days of custody parole. That means, technically, comparing Ram Rahim with rest of the prisoners of the country is dishonest.
