Italy icon Alessandro Del Piero has been forced to quickly delete a social media post after leaking kits for next summer’s World Cup. The tournament gets underway in the USA in just over eight months’ time.
Preparations for the World Cup are already underway, with a host of countries having already qualified. Joint hosts Canada, Mexico and the USA have been handed automatic spots.
They have been joined by a host of nations, albeit not a single European nation has sealed their qualification yet. That has not stopped sides from getting potential kits ready, with Adidas providing designs for a clutch of prominent countries.
And that has become abundantly clear, with Italy legend Del Piero sharing a picture of mannequins donning potential designs. Among those shared were the home kits for Japan, Spain, Colombia, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Belgium and Argentina.
All of their away kits were also shared - albeit there is a slight difference, with Adidas’ iconic trefoil logo donning change strips instead of their modern icon. One notable kit that was missing was England’s, but the Three Lions are having their kit provided by Nike instead.

Del Piero swiftly deleted his post. The leaks come amid demands from England boss Thomas Tuchel for World Cup organisers to rethink kick-off times due to the weather.
Speaking in a press conference, the German said: "I know the fans will not like it but for us it's better if we play later, of course. For everyone it's better to play later. If you do a run at 2 p.m. in Charlotte then you know.”
He added: "Midnight here, I understand that it's bad for our fans. I understand it, it's bad for the children, bad for the young people who go to school, very bad. There will be a lot of drop-outs the next day at school, I guess!"

"Well, then straightaway everyone will make the point the others also play in the heat ... it would be a disadvantage for us, for sure.
"Would we adapt to it, if we have to? Yes. Would we use it as an excuse? No. Would we still prefer to play in the evening, when shade is on the pitch? Yes, for sure.
"It's just proven, you see more intensive runs, you see more high-intensity runs, you see more recovery runs, you see a more intense game. [Earlier] it becomes slower, and less quality."
England will hope to get their qualification for the World Cup sealed sooner rather than later. The Three Lions sit seven points clear in Group K ahead of a clash with Latvia during the upcoming international break.
