has revealed that she's preparing to move house. The former actress, 34, has shared that she's looking forward to the "fresh break" but she's also expressed some concern over "downsizing" and leaving her beloved family home behind.
The Celebs Go Dating star announced recently that she's in the process of leaving her home in Bolton, Greater after purchasing and moving into the property four years ago. She had initially lived in the eight-bedroom house with her now ex-partner , 36, and their three children, prior to the couple's separation in 2022.
Mum-of-three Helen, who shares children Matilda, 9, Delilah, 6 and Charlie, 4, with ex Scott, revealed that she will be "downsizing" though as she considers relocating to . She spoke about moving house on an episode of Podcast.
"It actually makes me sad that I'm gonna be leaving this house soon because I actually put so much effort into it." She added whilst a guest on the podcast: "I put like a lot of my savings into like doing the house up and stuff, and making it look really beautiful," she said.
"It's an eight bedroomed house which is obviously really hard to keep on top of. I mean, I feel really lucky to to live here - well, soon to have lived here - because it is gorgeous but it's a lot to like keep on top of."
The former soap star said the house provided more space than when her and Scott were renting as a family. Helen then continued: "I think I'm gonna struggle to... Obviously when I do [move] because obviously I will be downsizing so much."
She said that whilst she's "down to Earth" and didn't want to "sound a certain way," she suspects it will "feel " living in a smaller property after being in her current home. She added: "Obviously, I will get used to it, I'm sure."
Helen first moved into the home in 2021 and at the time, called it her "forever home". Since then, she’s put her own stamp on the space, blending a girly yet minimalist aesthetic to create a warm, stylish sanctuary.
Inside her home, Helen’s bedroom reflects her love for calming, contemporary design, with crisp white panelled walls, a soft grey carpet, and understated furnishings. Sleek black accents on the bed-frame and side tables add a modern edge.
"I love this room - it’s just so relaxing. It’s my favourite place in the house," she told OK! Magazine when she first moved in. "Though the kids always end up in bed with me."
Her daughters Matilda and Delilah shared a whimsical mermaid-themed bedroom, complete with a custom mural depicting the girls as magical mermaid versions of themselves.
The artwork also includes mermaid Helen, with Charlie and their dad Scott appearing as mermen. Above it all hangs a heartwarming banner that reads" “Love you more than anything in the ” - a nightly phrase Helen would say to her children.

Meanwhile, her son Charlie had his own Gruffalo-themed room - a nod to his love for the beloved book. A striking mural of the iconic Julia Donaldson character fills one wall, alongside the sweet message: “Our boy Charlie.”
When it comes to her children’s rooms, Helen explained: “Because the rest of the house is quite minimalist and chic, I wanted their spaces to be really fun and full of character.” And that playful spirit continues in the kids’ -themed playroom. "All my kids are obsessed with Harry Potter – I think it’s because I’m such a big fan myself," Helen admitted.
Of her new move as she prepares to leave her family home behind her, Helen said: "It will feel weird to downsize everything because I'm gonna have to get rid of so much more because, for example, all my beautiful furniture that I've bought it's designed for this house.. It won't fit in my new house, you know, which is fine."
She went on to share that a smaller property will be more "manageable". Helen - whose partner Robbie Talbot is at one point - shared: "I think it will be better for me, actually, to be honest with you, to live in a small house because I think it might be more manageable for me."
At the time of recording the podcast, Helen revealed that she hadn't yet "chosen" her new house. She shared that she was considering relocating to London, which would be "amazing for work" but hadn't decided.
Helen - who has in recent years and discussed just months ago, saying that at one point she "lost basically all [her] money" - suggested that she wants "a change" following a challenging period in her life. She said: "I feel like I want like a change because, even though everything's great now, it's been a really kind of quite heavy few years for me."

The news comes as another blow for the ...Get Me Out Of Here! star after Helen admitted her boyfriend, Robbie Talbot, no longer lives with her - despite the actress previously asking him to 'move in for a bit'. Lifting the lid on the couple's new dynamic, she said she had to put her children first as they got used to her new relationship.
Opening up about the real reason, Robbie, who Helen met on celebrity dating app, Raya, last year, packed his bags and moved out, she told : "I don’t want to say I think this is forever, because it puts too much pressure on us.
“I’d asked him to stay for a while, because I often get quite scared in the house on my own and feel safer with a man there. But Matilda is very sensitive and a proper daddy’s girl, and she struggles with not seeing Scott as often as she’d like. I always think about how she feels when she misses her dad, and having my boyfriend there maybe doesn’t help her."
