Last night’s Casa Amor recoupling onLove Island delivered the drama we’ve all been waiting for – but not quite in the way fans expected.
Traditionally, this highly anticipated moment is full of fireworks, as Islandersdiscover whether their partner stayed loyal, recoupled, or worse - “explored their options” only to crawl back claiming they’d realised they’d had the perfect person all along. Usually, that means plenty of kisses, cuddles and even sharing beds with bombshells, before coming back with the old “it’s always been you” to their original partner.
But this year, it was different. Most of the boys clearly wanted to explore but their carefully planned game faces wouldn’t allow it. And the one catching most of the heat from viewers is Dejon Noel-Williams.

Dejon has been coupled up with Megan Moore since the start of the series, but their rocky romance led fans to believe Casa would expose his true colours. Many assumed he’d lap up his three nights of freedom but instead, he shocked everyone by staying (relatively) restrained.
He was clearly tempted by Casa bombshell Andrada Pop - even getting to know her over the few days but ultimately chose to return to the main villa alone. Still, some viewers are convinced it was all part of a cunning plan, given Andrada was brought back anyway by Ben Holbrough.
One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Dejon is so calculated. He’s not gonna pick Andrada, but wants her to be in the main villa so he can explore with her. So he’s making Ben do his dirty work while he looks like a saint to Meg. WE MUST VOTE THIS MAN OFF. I don’t want him to touch the prize money.”
When Dejon walked back solo, Meg was visibly relieved, throwing her arms around him after just the day before questioning if he truly felt the same way or if he’d just expect her to forget his wandering eye.
But moments later, Andrada made her entrance into the villa, chosen by Ben, and wasted no time letting everyone know she’d also been getting to know Dejon. However she made it clear it was only a few chats and "nothing disrespectful". But Meg, unimpressed, simply muttered “I knew it.”
Viewers, of course, had plenty to say as one fan posted: “It irritates me so much that Dejon got exactly what he wanted. Seems like the loyal, trustworthy partner AND his Casa girl joins the main villa so he can get to know her more.”
And another added: “Dejon in turmoil, does he stick to the plan or switch? I personally think he’ll go back to ‘my Meg.’”
Viewers will have to tune in to see if Dejon will continue things with Meg – or if his head has secretly been turned by Andrada.
