The man who brutally killed April Jones, 5, has been attacked in prison as her family said "he deserves it.
Mark Bridger was attacked by another inmate at HMP Wakefield last week prison officials have confirmed. A prison service spokesperson told The Mirror: "A prisoner has been placed on report for inflicting minor injuries on a second prisoner at HMP Wakefield"
In the first attack, shortly after Bridger was jailed, Bridger needed stitches for facial injuries after he was slashed with a knife that was made from a razor. The most recent attack left Bridger having suffered grazes to his hand.

April's half-sister Hazel previously said: "He deserves everything he's getting. He literally deserves it all."
April was taken as she played close to her home near Machynlleth, Powys, in October 2012. Despite a massive search effort being launched, her body has not been found. Bridger rented a flat close to where the abduction took place and he was given a whole-life term in 2013.
He was found guilty of child abduction, murder, perverting justice and the unlawful concealment and disposal of a body. Hazel told The Sun:"I’ve got kids myself now and it’s scary to know there are people like that living on your doorstep. I am glad he’s in prison for life. He’s going to carry on getting hurt."
The father of April, Paul Jones, 56, died suddenly after contracting a virus - eight years on from being diagnosed with encephalitis - a serious brain condition. The former pub doorman never found out what happened toApril's body after she was abducted.
On the day of April's disappearance, the youngster had friends round for dinner and wanted to take one of them home on her bike. Her mum, Coral, said "no problem" and told her to "come straight back". But April never returned, and was instead seen getting into a vehicle near her home.
The case sparked a vast search for the five-year-old, as well as a personal appeal from then-Prime Minister David Cameron. Hundreds of volunteers joined in to look for the youngster, along with various police and rescue teams, but April's body was never found.
While most of her remains were never found, fragments were discovered at Bridger’s cottage and later buried in April’s hometown of Machynlleth, North Wales.
Paul's step daughter Jazz, previously announced the tragic passing, adding: "It is with broken hearts that my brother and I wish to let people know our dad (Paul Jones) passed away early hours this morning. It was very unexpected and we are all in shock.
"Harley and myself will update people with further information as we know more but please give us our privacy to mourn our loss."
She previously told The Sun: "It’s only been 24 hours, it’s a lot to get our head around. As a family we’re heartbroken, but we’re still trying to process the fact that dad has passed away, so we’re not sharing any information on his death out of respect for him."
