As fans wait for the next instalment, viewers have beencoming up with various theories for part two. And fans are convinced that there is one villain who is hiding in plain sight, but it's not who you may think.

As anticipation continues to build for the release of part 2, fans continue to have their say on what they think will happen next and attention has turned to Bruno (Noah Taylor) with fans suspecting he has a bigger part to play other than Enid's (Emma Myers) love interest.

Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: "He has to be a twist villain, there's no other reason for him to be there. He has no personality. He conveniently has the exact same trauma as Enid? Sure buddy pack it up."

Another added: "He takes part in Enid’s death. Earn Enid’s trust to somehow kill her?" A third fan predicted: "I think Bruno is evil and we are supposed to think he is some bland idiot, but he actually helped Agnes almost kill Enid & him.

"Enid was talking to thing and we hear a thud (Bruno) and then Enid is knocked out. Maybe we didn’t see Bruno be knocked out because he was faking."

However, some suggest the character serves as a plot representation. One Reddit user commented: " Bruno is barely a character. It's more like he's just a plot device and a way to show how suddenly being accepted by other wolves has changed Enid."

Another suggested: "The point is that he’s a springboard for conflict with Enid/Ajax/Wednesday. He represents Enid trying to fit in with her pack, to the detriment of her relationships with Ajax and Wednesday.

"We’ve spent more time with Ajax than we have Bruno. Why develop Bruno’s character if his only purpose is to be discarded? It’s not lazy writing, it’s intentional. If we see any type of characterization of Bruno, it makes us think of him more than what he is. We aren’t supposed to feel any type of way about him."

One viewer predicted: "By the end of the season either he and Enid break up, he turns out to be evil, or he dies. Whatever happens I suspect we won't be seeing him in season 3."

But fans will have to wait a few more days to find out what happens next.

Wednesday season 2, part 2 airs September 3 on Netflix
