Heath and wellbeing is, for many, a fundamental part of life. But not everyone wants to drag themselves out to an overpriced gym on cold and dark mornings, making home gyms all the more appealing.
Now fitness fanatics who are looking to invest in home workout equipment might be in for a treat, as NordicTrack celebrates their 50th anniversary with a range of money saving deals.
NordicTrack holds itself as the 'world leader in home fitness equipment,' as its products include a wide range of unique features. These include foldable Space Saver treadmills and ellipticals, making home gyms possible even in smaller spaces, HD touchscreen displays, and even interactive, trainer-led workout sessions - all from the comfort of home.

The brand is celebrating its 50th anniversary with some huge pre-Black Friday deals that can save savvy shoppers hundreds of pounds on home gym equipment. From bikes to treadmills to workout plan memberships, fitness fans will be able to kickstart their home gyms for less with a range of products included in the offer.
Among the deals is theX24 Studio Bike, priced at £1,999 down from £2,499 - saving buyers a total of £500. Whether it's training for hills, flats or descents, the bike has an option for everyone, with incline reaching up to 20% and decline to -10%. It also has up to 24 resistance levels - all of which can be adjusted from the handles on the bike.
A stand-out feature is the pivoting 24 inch HD Screen which allows shoppers to stay entertained while working out, with movies, TV shows and music available directly from the exercise bike. The crystal clear screen is also where users can watch guided, personalised workout classes and NordicTrack is offering £100 off their iFit Pro Membership which gives access to over 10,000 workouts with trainers, and personalised workouts based on individual fitness levels.
The bike comes with a built-in fan that automatically adjusts with the intensity of workouts. Those that could use some extra encouragement and accountability can use the iFit AI Coach, which can schedule workouts from phones and send reminders when it's time to train.

If running and walking workouts are preferred, then fitness buffs can take a look at the Commercial 2450 treadmill from NordicTrack, priced at £2,999 down from £3,499 - that's a £500 saving.
Described as NordicTrack's 'fastest treadmill designed for advanced runners looking to improve their endurance and speed,' it has a number of sought after features. For example, those trying to improve their pace can now reach 22km/hour, which means speedy runners can hit a 2.45 minute-kilometre pace on the treadmill.
Offering up to 12% incline and -3% decline it is also ideal for those who may want to do hill sprints or a low intensity incline walk. While running is known to be harsh on joints, the NordicTrack treadmill has a cushioned deck which lowers the impact of the exercise. Again, there is a pivoting 24 inch touchscreen for trainer-led workouts and streaming with iFIT.
But if savvy shoppers are looking to get the best of both worlds, they can save even more - and kit out their home gym completely - by getting the two together in a bundle. Priced at £4,199 down from £5,998, shoppers can save £1,799 when they buy both the treadmill and the bike. The company is also offering a free SmartBeat heartrate monitor worth £99 with selected machines.

For alternative options for bikes, shoppers could instead try the Peloton Bike for £1,599. This bike features a 21.5 inch screen, a manual resistance knob, access to heart rate, resistance and cadence while working out, and is a compact 120cm x 60cm - smaller than an average yoga mat. For runners and walkers, there is also the Reebok Jet 100z Folding Treadmill with Connected Fitness for £699 from Argos which offers speeds of 1-18km per hour, 12 incline levels and is designed with Air Motion cushioning technology to help with the impact on feet and legs.
The NordicTrack treadmill has a high 4.7 star rating on its site, however. One person said: "The 2450 is packed with features that can help make your fitness journey a treat and not a chore. The iFit interface keeps you motivated and the machine stands up to whatever you throw at it. NordicTrack does it again."
Another said: "I'm a dad and work at the office full time, so finding time to stay active has always been tough—especially after becoming a new father. The NordicTrack Commercial 2450 has been a game-changer for me. I love being able to jump on the treadmill after work or during my baby’s naps to squeeze in a quick workout. The iFIT programs make each run more engaging, and the variety of workout types keeps me coming back. The incline and decline features simulate outdoor terrain, which makes it feel like I’m running hills even when I’m inside. The machine is also super quiet, so I don’t have to worry about waking up the baby during a workout. If you’re a busy parent or just someone with limited time, I highly recommend this treadmill. It fits perfectly into my daily routine and helps me stay fit without having to leave home."

Reviewing the exercise bike, one shopper wrote: "I had no idea an exercise bike could be customised like this. Literally has a setting for everyone. You can use the iFit program and the bike automatically adjusts incline and intensity to fit the program. The screen is fully adjustable to accommodate for your height and/or glare. I'm sure I haven't tapped into even a fraction of what this bike can do but I am already so impressed."
Not everyone felt the same way, however. One person wrote: "The bike was pretty easy to assemble and shipping was fast and efficient. The system is helpful in keeping track of mileage, speed, and calories burned. The only changes I believe would take the bike to the next level are; making the seat more comfortable and making the appearance more sleek and modern. Otherwise a great bike."
Another said: "I love my NordicTrack X24! After a tough pregnancy and C-section, this bike has been a lifesaver for getting back into shape. The incline and downhill feature makes rides feel so realistic, and the iFit app is packed with bike workouts for every level. The big screen and water bottle holder are awesome, and I appreciate how sleek and modern the bike looks. Plus, being able to clip in spin shoes makes me feel like I’m in a studio class from home. Highly recommend it for any mum starting her fitness journey."
The X24 Studio Bike and Commercial 2450 treadmill are available from NordicTrack in their autumn sale now.
