As Strictly Come Dancingreturns for the Sunday evening results show, fans were left fumingas they noticed a change to the elimination music and claimed it 'used to be great'. The show saw the remaining contestants stand with their professional dance partners, as they were called out one at a time who is safe from elimination.
The change in music didn't slip by the fans who were left confused and unimpressed. One viewer took to X, formally known as Twitter, and said: “Why have they changed the results music? It used to be great”, while another added: "There was nothing wrong with original music down the results why change it #StrictlyComeDancing #SCD #Strictly”.
It follows after the BBC announced a huge change to the results show as the 2025 season kicked off. At the end of the first live show, hosts Claudia and Tess revealed that the power is no longer in Shirley Ballas ' hands.
For the last seven years, head judge Shirley has been responsible for the gruelling decision of choosing which couple in the bottom two should leave if the votes are tied after the dance off.

However, that has been changed and the power is now going to be shared between all the four judges, with a different judge holding the power each week.
Some fans were not impressed with the new changes as one took to X and wrote: "I think would’ve made more sense for it to be down to the public vote instead of a different judge each week but okay," while another said: "I was hoping it would be a 'public vote if the judges are tied' but nope."
Amid all the new changes also included a massive overhaul to their voting system for the current series. For numerous years, fans could support their favourite couple by dialling premium-rate telephone numbers.
However, the BBC has now branded the system as "outdated" and unveiled a significant transformation to how people can cast their votes.
It comes after Scottish broadcaster Ross King became the second contestant dumped from the show. After it was announced he was leaving, Ross sweetly said: "I could not have wished for a better partner, and I could not have wished to be on a better show".
Thomas Skinner and Amy Dowden were the first couple on the 2025 series sent packing after they found themselves in the dance-off against Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova.
Reflecting on her heartbreaking departure, Amy Dowden shared: "I've got to know the real Tom, and he is adorable. He's looked after me.
"We've laughed so much. We've worked so hard and a glitterball would have been amazing, but what I've learnt in the last few years is happiness, health, and being alive is more important than anything."
Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
