Amazon’s Prime Day sale comes to an end tonight (July 11), but that doesn’t mean shoppers have to miss out on a bargain. Despite dominating the shopping headlines this week, there’s countless eye-catching deals up for grabs on rival sites if you know where to look.
The Prime Day sale is due to end at 11.59pm, but we’ve found a host of deals that are better, similar, or even the same as Amazon at rival retailers like Very and Argos. There’s also plenty of sales with top brands like Dyson slashing their prices in a bid to tempt shoppers away from the retail giant.
We’ve found price drops on premium Apple products like the latest MacBooks and iPads, Dyson vacuum cleaners, and Samsung smartphones. There’s also a third off Shark’s popular misting fan that’s been flying off the shelves amid the latest heatwave.

So read on for our five favourite Amazon-rivalling deals.
Apple MacBook Air M4 – £849 (was £929)Very is offering the 13” Apple MacBook Air for the same price as Amazon’s Prime Day deal, which is the cheapest-ever. This 2025 model is a thinner and lighter version of the MacBook Pro and runs on Apple’s M4 chip, which delivers smooth and fast performance for basic or more strenuous tasks.
It also has a Liquid Retina display, a variety of Apple Intelligence features and an 18-hour battery life. The MacBook Air has racked up a 4.9-star rating, with one glowing review saying: “The MacBook Air combines power, elegance, and innovation, offering a versatile and reliable computing experience.”
This reviewer offered a word of warning to shoppers opting for the new Sky Blue model, saying “I got the Sky Blue model, which looks great but is not very blue – a bit more like a grey blue.”
There’s also the option to spread the cost with Sky Mobile’s £22 MacBook Air plan, which equates to roughly 70p per day.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE – £24.99 per month
Shoppers picking up a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE from Mobiles.co.uk can claim a free Samsung Galaxy Watch7 until July 29. The standout contract option is iD Mobile’s £24.99 plan, which comes with 100GB data and a £9 upfront cost.
Bear in mind that the monthly price will increase to £26.49 from April 2026 and £27.99 from April 2027, with the total ownership cost coming to £635.76. This is more pricey than Amazon’s £499 Prime Day deal but is a great option for those looking to spread the cost and get plenty of mobile data included as standard.
With a 4.4-star rating, Amazon customers said of the S24 FE: “Love this phone. Camera is amazing and the battery is brilliant. I’m off and on it all day and it’s still 70% by teatime. It’s super fast for what I use it for.”
But this user said: “You pay all that money for a phone and they no longer include a plug.”
Shark FlexBreeze Portable Desk Fan – £100 (was £130)With the UK baking in yet another heatwave, Shark’s popular fans have been selling out at both Amazon and Shark direct. But Argos is offering an Amazon-beating deal on this Shark FlexBreeze Portable Desk Fan at £100, down from £130.
The compact fan is touted as being both powerful and portable, boasting Shark’s cooling mist feature that produces ‘ultra-fine’ droplets to keep users cool both indoors and outdoors. This model has racked up a 4.7-star rating from Argos shoppers, with one saying: “This is amazing, sitting in front of it is not only cooling but with the mist on it’s like a spa for hydrating your face.”
Despite their four-star review, this buyer noted a downside, saying: “Great product but why was it not designed for use with a remote control or app?”
Apple iPad A16 – £10.50 per month
Shoppers can spread the cost of the new 2025 model Apple iPad A16 with Sky Mobile’s £10.50 plan, but keep in mind this comes on a 48-month contract. It’s also worth noting that this price is only for the device, so shoppers must also take out a Sky data plan which range from £0 to £25.
The iPad A16 launched earlier this year as part of the brand’s latest tablet range, designed as a budget-friendly, entry-level model. It’s powered by Apple’s A16 silicon chip and has an 11” Liquid Retina display, 12MP front and back cameras, and 128GB storage.
Amazon reduced the same iPad from £329 to £285 for Prime Day, with one five-star review saying: “Brilliant, 10 out of 10. Excellent screen and lightweight, more than enough memory for day to day use. Looks slim and classy, brilliant screen quality.”
However, keep in mind that this model has no earphone socket, as this reviewer said: “Cannot fit a standard set of ear phones. No connection socket. Apart from that all OK.”
Dyson V11 Extra – £399.99 (was £499.99)Dyson’s summer sale has seen huge price drops across its cordless vacuum cleaner range, with the V11 Extra now £100 off and coming with a free standing charging dock. This model offers 60 minutes of run time, a de-tangling motorbar that removes pet hair as it cleans and a filtration system that captures dust, particles and allergens.
It also boasts a large 0.77L bin for less frequent emptying. Dyson customers have awarded this model a 4.6-star rating, with one glowing review saying: “Excellent vacuum. Just replaced my V6 with a V11 and couldn’t believe the suction. Very impressed with the performance and the attachments are a bonus especially the one for the stairs.”
This user left a four-star review but noted that it may not be suitable for everyone: “It’s extremely powerful and when first used picked up an embarrassing amount of dirt. I do find it heavy and tiring to hold as I am elderly and rather arthritic so that’s worth bearing in mind.”
Amazon’s Prime Day deal has cut the V11 Extra to £369, but there’s no free Floor Dock included here.
