The deceased had drunk alcohol with his friend
Sunita Devi said that her husband was drinking alcohol with his friend Shyam Mandal at a culvert situated some distance from the house. She went there to call her husband, but he did not come. After searching on Thursday morning, the body of Cheena Mandal was found in the mango orchard of Dhobiya Gachhi. Cheena Mandal was murdered by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.
