UAN (Universal Account Number) is necessary to check the balance in the PF account. Without this, it becomes difficult to check the balance. Many times PF balance has to be checked but the UAN number is not there. In such a situation, there is tension that how to check the PF balance or get a UAN number.

Today we will tell you all the ways through which you can also check your UAN number. Before knowing the method, let us tell you that the UAN number is issued by the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). This number is of 12 digits.

Check from the EPFO portal
Go to the official website of EPFO (https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/For_Employees.php).

Now select Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP) in the Services section.

After this click on the option of Know your UAN.

Now fill in the registered mobile number and captcha and get OTP.

Enter the OTP received on the mobile number.

After this, a new window will open. Fill in all your details in it.

Now by clicking on Show my UAN, the UAN number will be displayed on the screen.

Find out through SMS
To find out the UAN number through message, you have to write EPFOHO UAN number and send a message to 7738299899. You have to send the message from the registered mobile number. After the message is sent, you will get the UAN number in the reply.

Find out through a missed call.
You have to give a missed call to 01122901406 from the registered mobile number. After this, you will get all the other information including UAN in the message.
