In such a situation, the Labor Party seems to be moving ahead towards forming the government with a huge margin. Exit polls have also indicated a big defeat of Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party in the parliamentary elections. A new government is expected to be formed in the UK in 14 years.

Exit poll results are mostly correct

Only the exit poll results of 2015 were wrong when the survey was predicting a hung parliament but during this time the Conservative Party got the majority. If the exit polls prove correct this time, then the Labour Party will form the government.

Sunak had suddenly announced elections in May, which surprised many people. This is because in the survey, the Labour Party was ahead of the Conservative Party by around 20 points.
