World News. Voting has been done for the general elections in Britain and now the counting of votes is going on. PM Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party is facing a lot of losses. So far, election results of a total of 137 seats have been released in which the Labor Party is leading by a huge margin. Out of a total of 137 seats, the Labor Party has won 108 while Sunak's party has been able to win only 14 seats. At the same time, PM candidate Keir Starmer has also won his seat. In such a situation, the Labor Party seems to be moving ahead towards forming the government with a huge margin. Exit polls have also indicated a big defeat of Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party in the parliamentary elections. A new government is expected to be formed in the UK in 14 years.

Exit poll results are mostly correct

Talking about past data, exit polls have proved to be correct in most of the last six national elections in Britain. Only the exit poll results of 2015 were wrong when the survey was predicting a hung parliament but during this time the Conservative Party got the majority. If the exit polls prove correct this time, then the Labour Party will form the government.

Rishi Sunak's party was behind in the survey

Indian-origin British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak may face defeat in the general elections this time according to the exit polls. Sunak had suddenly announced elections in May, which surprised many people. This is because in the survey, the Labour Party was ahead of the Conservative Party by around 20 points. Looking at the victory of 14 years, Sunak had considered the party's victory to be certain with the margin of victory decreasing, but it seems to be having the opposite effect. Keir Starmer's Labour Party seems to be winning.

Huge margin of victory between the Labour Party and the Conservative Party, Starmer wins.

The results of the Labour Party and the Conservative Party are becoming clear in the initial results itself. So far the Labour Party has won 137 seats whereas the Conservative Party has won only 14 seats. In such a scenario, Rishi Sunak has suffered a lot while Keir Starmer, the prime ministerial candidate from the Labour Party, has won Holborn and St. Pancras seats in London.
