Just days ahead of its release, Vijay Deverakonda's much-awaited film Kingdom (titled Samrajya in Hindi) has dropped a massive surprise. While the trailer already had fans buzzing, a new update is now doubling the excitement—literally!
Double Trouble or Double Delight?According to a report from Cinejosh, Vijay Deverakonda may be seen in a double role in Kingdom. This speculation has sparked a frenzy among fans, who are closely analysing every frame of the recently released trailer.
In one scene, Vijay appears in prisoner attire, and in another, he’s seen donning a police uniform. But the most intriguing shot features a tribal warrior with arrows—and fans are convinced that this character is also played by Vijay.
If true, this would be the actor’s first-ever double role, and it could be a major cinematic moment in his career.
Kingdom Will Release in Two PartsDirected by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is already confirmed to be released in two parts, with Part 1 hitting theatres on July 31, 2025. The film’s scale, visuals, and action have been widely praised, especially in the Hindi trailer, where Vijay’s rugged avatar has won hearts.
Stellar Cast and High StakesThe film also stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, while Satyadev plays the role of Vijay’s brother. The trailer hints at themes of espionage, brotherhood, and rebellion—wrapped in a gripping storyline.
But to become a true pan-India blockbuster, Kingdom will need to outshine current South sensation Saiyyara, which is performing strongly at the Hindi box office.
Fan Theories Fuel HypeDespite no official confirmation from the makers, fan theories about Vijay's dual identity in the film are gaining momentum on social media. With only 3 days left for the release, this theory has added a layer of suspense that could pull even more audiences to theatres.
