On October 3, Kia officially launched its new Carnival MPV and the EV9 electric SUV in India. The Carnival marks the latest generation of the popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), while the EV9 stands out as Kia's most premium electric offering to date.
The new Kia Carnival is priced at Rs.63.9 lakh (ex-showroom), while the EV9 comes with a price tag of Rs1.3 crore (ex-showroom). Both vehicles are now available for booking, with deliveries expected to commence in the coming months. They will be imported to India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.
Carnival Features and Configuration
The new Carnival offers a spacious 7-seat layout, arranged in a 2+2+3 configuration. The second row features comfortable captain seats, while the third row includes a bench seat. The Limousine variant includes manual sliding and reclining functions for the second-row seats, whereas the top-tier Limousine Plus variant offers electric adjustments and ventilation for added comfort.
