Arsenal's new signings will get their first outing when the Gunners face AC Milan this afternoon. The first leg of the club's Asia tour begins today in Singapore, with Martin Zubimendi expected to be among those taking part in the friendly against the Italian outfit.
Zubimendi could line up alongside fellow signings Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga. However, Noni Madueke is not part of Mikel Arteta's 30-man squad for the tour, having been given an extended break after competing for Chelsea in the Club World Cup. In the backdrop to today's match is news that Arsenal are finally closing in on the signing of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting. An initial £55million deal has been struck with the Portuguese club. It remains to be seen when Gyokeres will first appear in an Arsenal shirt.
