Bargain Hunt viewers who tuned into the latest instalment on Monday (26/05/2025) immediately complained minutes into the episode. BBC fans watching at home saw the long-running antiques show visit King's Lynn, with Caroline Hawley and David Fergus appearing as guest experts. Charlie Ross, the seasoned auctioneer who has fronted for years, was also hosting. As the antique expert introduced the viewers to the Red and Blue teams, fans couldn't help but moan about the same thing.
One person expressed on X, "Bargain Hunt is so predictable. Needs a total shake up. Get rid of Charlie Ross would be first #bargainhunt." Another person also chimed in, "Just sat down at home to have some lunch with the wife before moving on to my next job and she's watching Bargain Hunt on @BBC - I cannot believe that utter drivel is still going and it's not changed since it first started!"
A third also chimed in, "@BBCBargainHunt love this programme but editing a bit off today."
During the episode, the Red Team (Kerri and Lorraine) faced off against the Blue Team (Bruno and Tom). Both aimed to buy antiques at a fair in King's Lynn and then sell them at an auction in the hope of making a profit.
The Red Team picked up a Norwegian brooch, a typewriter, and the dinner-service china. At the auctioneers, all three items didn't make a profit, and the Red Team made a loss of £40, to which Lorraine expressed, "Ah well, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!"
The Blue Team chose a vintage football game, a blue vase, and two pieces of silverware. They didn't have much success either, and they lost even more in terms of profit, with a loss of £58.

When Charlie revealed which team had won, the Red Team shrieked with delight, to which Charlie laughed, "Shrieks of delight! So much joy despite not even making a profit."
Elsewhere in the episode, historian Dr Sue Gattuso told Charlie Ross about the magical moment when local man, Howard Carter, first entered the tomb of Pharaoh in 1922.
Charlie dug into the history of the Egyptian archaeologist and son of Swaffham, as the episode was located in Norfolk.
Bargain Hunt airs at 12:15pm on BBC One.
