Good Morning Britain has lost one of its employees to a job at rival politics show BBC Question Time. Political producer Anna Haines, who has also worked on Robert Peston's ITV programme, is ditching the broadcaster to join the BBC as a producer - but admitted she is "very sad" to be saying goodbye.
Anna tweeted: "Job news... Thrilled to announce that from September I'll be producing @bbcquestiontime. Very sad to leave my amazing colleagues at @GMB and a huge thanks to the politics team for being so wonderful to work with. DMs are open and I'm around for coffees in September."
Fans rushed to congratulate Anna in the replies section, with one gushing: "Huge congratulations! You're going to be amazing!"
Another echoed: "Congratulations Anna, this is one of the best jobs on the block!" And somebody else commented: "Sooo happy for you and proud of you darling. Can't wait to see what you do there! They are very lucky to have you."
The news comes just as GMB issued a scathing blow to Prince Harry after a report into his charity Sentebale found no evidence of misogyny and bullying - as accused by its chair, Dr Sophie Chandauka.
Correspondent Richard Gaisford, on the scene at Kensington Palace, explained: "[Prince Harry is] not happy, because while the Charity Commission head has found no widespread evidence of bullying, of misogyny, of racism against black women, it is critical of Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso [of Lesotho], who'd both set up this charity together, for allowing this row to develop in public in the first place."
He added: "The Charity Commission says it was not just damaging for that charity in particular but for others because it undermines, as you said, people's perception of charities in general."que
