Minutes into the airing of Sunday night's Big Brother UK launch show, viewers were already voicing their opinions.

The rejuvenated hit ITV2 series, presented by AJ Odudu and Will Best, kick-started its new season, introducing 16 fresh faces poised to compete for a grand cash prize of £100,000 inside the legendary house, where ultimately one will emerge victorious.

The first housemate to make an entrance was Rosie, a 29-year-old dental assistant hailing from Essex and currently residing in Cornwall, swiftly winning over the audience, reports .

However, it wasn't long before fans picked up on a habit of Rosie's as she frequently screamed during the show, prompting a flurry of tweets.

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to share their thoughts as one person said: "Can Rosie stop screaming #bbuk", a different account put: "Please stop screaming, Rosie. I have a dog. #BBUK", while another wrote: "Why is she screaming #BBUK."

A fourth viewer added: "Rosie seems nice but the screaming is slightly over the top #BBUK." And: "Rosie seems sweet but I just can't deal with the screaming #bbuk." A sixth said: "Honestly I think she's just excited, which is to be expected I doubt she will be screaming like this into next week at least I hope #BBUK."

Talking about why she entered Big Brother, Rosie said: "This is something I've always wanted to do and I know it's so easy to say but it's the best opportunity. I can't tell you how grateful I am. I can't even believe it's happening!" Talking about what she'll bring to the house, she added: "I'm hoping it's going to be a little something different.

"I think I'm going to bring positive energy. I am a good listener and I can be there to support people - I'm a supportive person. I'm quite an enthusiastic person so if people are feeling a bit low, I can get them back on track."

Revealing what she is most likely to get nominated for, she said: "If people get to know me, I'm so calm and chill but I can come across quite chaotic. I think I'd probably be nominated for being the most annoying!"

Elsewhere during Sunday's launch show, King Charles' former butler, Nathan, 24, entered the house. He said ahead of joining the show: "I was Prince [King] Charles' butler. I think that's one thing that will definitely surprise people."

Big Brother continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV X.
