ITV Celebrity Big Brother fans floored as two stars share unexpected history

Two Celebrity Big Brother contestants discovered they share an unexpected connection on Monday night (April 7), leaving viewers utterly gobsmacked.

During the latest episode, presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best introduced the new celebrity line-up that's set to bring the drama for three weeks in the famed house.

The first to step into the spotlight was singer Chesney Hawkes, followed by Dance Moms sensation JoJo Siwa and television host Trisha Goddard.

Upon entering the house, Trisha made a beeline for Chesney and expressed her excitement at meeting him, before dropping the bombshell that they attended the same primary school.

"You know what, I'm glad to meet you," Trisha told the The One and Only hitmaker, reports .

"Did you go to St Ann's Primary School?" she inquired, to which an astonished Chesney responded: "I did! You are joking."

Trisha went on to recount their shared connections, including her father's work at Holloway Sanitorium and her own job at a local pub.

"The Rose and Crown? I live right near there. I moved back there," Chesney revealed, with Trisha adding a comment about the men's toilets being "horrific".

Later on, when EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer entered the house, Trisha disclosed that they used to socialise together in West Hollywood.

Following these unexpected revelations, CBB fans quickly flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to express their amazement.

"Trisha knows everyone... went to same school as Chesney and partied with Patsy in West Hollywood," remarked one viewer.

Meanwhile, other viewers found humour in JoJo's reaction as Trisha and Chesney reminisced about old times.

One viewer noted: "Jojo staring at the wall as Trisha and Chesney embrace in eachother with their backstories," while another chimed in: "Trisha and Chesney just old school mates catching up while Jojo is just stood there."

A third fan shared similar sentiments, stating: "Obsessed with Trisha completely ignoring Jojo to ask Chesney about his school that she also went to."

This year's star-studded cast also boasts names like Chris Hughes, Michael Fabricant, Jack P Shepherd and Ella Rae Wise.
